Why a Blog-umé?

I wanted to create something new, something non-traditional that would showcase my life's professional and personal achievements. I wanted to show more of my personality and character, more than a simple sheet of white all purpose printer paper and some bullet points can.

I came to the conclusion that a Blog-umé would be a great forum to showcase my experiences from the past and give me the ability to keep everyone updated as things develop. Unlike the traditional resumé and cover letter, which can become outdated within a single day, this Blog-umé can be accessed by any potential employer at anytime to find out about my recent activities, projects, volunteering, or employment.

**Please note that this
Blog-umé is currently under construction. I would like to thank you for your patience while I work to bring my Blog-umé up to date**

Sheridan College Advertising Management, Class of 2008

Next stop on the education train: Sheridan College in Oakville ON.

A very exciting and comprehensive program; I was quickly knee deep in strategy and homework.

The classes covered market research, account planning, law and ethics, sales and more.  We explored the individual elements of a project and all the small and not so small steps that are needed to complete it. Including the client briefing, creative brief, the contact report, big idea and the pitch.

Not only did we learn about the individual elements that are part of a job/campaign but we put that knowledge to work to create a communications plan and pitch presentation for two campaigns.

I worked on HungryMan with  James Clark and Gaylea's Spreadable Butter with Tim Sarrazin and Crissy MacDonald.
